Where It Began
In 1993, while in Mexico City, our founder, Antonio Gutierrez, came across a news article about a tragic bank robbery that claimed several lives. Driven by his humanitarian and entrepreneurial spirit, he pondered, "What can we do to prevent such tragedies?" This question sparked the idea of creating booths capable of detecting metals. He shared this concept with friends in Monterrey City and later presented it to a prominent banker who expressed interest in the project.
Thus, the first metal-detecting booth was born.
This innovative solution led to the establishment of Tectron de Mexico, a company specializing in bank security. As market demands evolved, so did the company. In 2005, Tectron de Mexico transitioned into the fabrication of metal parts. Together with his wife, Marcela Rivera, Antonio embarked on a new venture:
Tectron Metal, now a prominent name in metal part manufacturing.
