Maintenance Technician

Job Objective

Keep equipment operating efficiently by minimizing downtime and maximizing operational availability.

Specific duties:

• Regular inspection and maintenance: Perform periodic inspections on equipment, machinery, and systems to identify any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.

• Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule, including lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and replacement of parts as necessary.

• Failure diagnosis and repair: Investigate and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic problems in equipment and systems.

• Perform adequate repairs diagnostic equipment and necessary spare parts.

• Support in other areas if the company requires it

• Continuity to the QMS procedures that apply to their position, as well as the process objectives, quality policy, mission, vision, and values of Tectron Metal S.A. de C.V

• Support in development of new FMK or equivalent programs

 

 

Education Level
A technical degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanics or related engineering is preferred.

 

Minimum Desirable Experience to Fill the Position

Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment of approximately 1 year.

Knowledge/Skills

• Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and control systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals

• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on problem solving and attention to detail

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Availability to work in rotating shifts

• Time administration

• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
