Job Objective
Interpret work orders and technical data from blueprints to perform welded joints or material cutting, identifying shapes, dimensions, symbols, and characteristics of the welding and/or cutting to be carried out.
Specific duties:

Setup of welding devices

Setup of welding machines

Interpretation of welding symbols

Filling out reports
-
Interpretation of parts and assemblies with errors, using the same technique as drawing
Education Level
Completed secondary school.
Minimum Desirable Experience for the Position
1 year in a similar role.
Knowledge/Skills

Reading and writing comprehension

Understanding of physical, mechanical, and chemical properties of materials

Knowledge of the production process

Knowledge of welding processes in industrial hygiene

Knowledge of welding symbols

Knowledge of technical drawing and reading of blueprints and standardized symbols
